New INVISTA Facility Begins Production at Port of Rotterdam

Plant to Expand Company’s Service to European Customers

INVISTA (Wichita, KS), a global producer of polymers and fibers, has started production at its new polyamide salt plant. The plant is an expansion of the company’s polymer facility in the Rozenburg area, at the Port of Rotterdam.

The expanded site will serve the company’s European fiber and plastic customers. INVISTA expects the facility will improve responsiveness to local market needs.

The polymer manufactured at the site is used in applications such as car parts, airbags and tires, carpeting, and even clothing.
